like an idiot
a toothy faced blaring idiot.
but everyone is jealous that you can seem so goddamn happy.
so he tries it.
sitting on the subway, singing to himself
white wires streaming out of strangers ears
he smiles at one of them - and waits. and forgets.
and slips into a surreal subway situation - songs and smiles, strangers and self.
